Built as a working piece rather than a formal parlor table, it carries the proportions and sturdy stretcher-base construction typical of the form. The grey stained top is a later modification.

DIMENSIONS: 54" L x 24" W x 29-1/4" H

ORIGIN: United States

PERIOD: Circa 1840

MATERIALS: Birch (grey-stained top), cherry (legs)

CONDITION: Very good overall condition.
