An English Palladian figured mahogany circular tilt top table with ogee edge above a shallow cross banded apron. The table top is supported by an octagonal tapered columnar pedestal on a shallow ring turned molding and mounted on concave trefoil platform with engaged wheel turned feet on castors. Underneath, two cross battens and a central block carry brass catches and a hook-style latch. Tipped upright, the top turns the table into a slim profile you can stand against a wall.
The scale of this piece is perfect as a compact breakfast table or as a low-profile entryway or occasional table.
