A hand-colored lithograph of O-Poth-Le-Yo-Ho-Lo, Speaker of the Councils, published in Philadelphia by Rice, Rutter & Co. between 1865 and 1870. The plate is from the octavo edition of McKenney and Hall's History of the Indian Tribes of North America. The likeness is after Charles Bird King's original oil portrait, one of a series painted for the War Department's Indian Gallery before fire destroyed the source paintings in 1865. Bright hand coloring picks out the sitter's blue and gold garment, the pale headdress bound in black feathers, and the beaded sash crossing his chest.

The plate carries its original imprint at the base: "No. 34" and "Rice, Rutter & Co. Publishers."
