A Rookwood bulb form vase in a medium green drip vellum glaze. The glaze pools and thins as it moves down the body. Below the shoulder, a band of raised gadroon-like forms gives way to a shallow impressed leaf motif that wraps the lower half, visible more as texture under the glaze than as sharp relief.
The underside carries the 1902 Rookwood maker's mark alongside the date cipher for 1925 and the shape number 2896, confirming both maker and year (XXV, 2896).
